Creating healthy, healing micro-communities in Syracuse, New York

One person

One family

One neighborhood block at a time

Our Mission

Rooted in the mission and teachings of the Orthodox Christian Faith, we work to activate resilience and catalyze the transformation of psychological trauma and pain into all-embracing spiritual love, one person, family, and neighborhood block at a time.

Traumatic experience is “an invitation to expand our own personal and selfish concerns and to embrace the wellbeing of the totality of the entire universe.”

Dr. Renos Papadopoulos

Our Approach:

Community trauma pain can have an isolating and self-preserving effect, or it can help create a deeper sense of empathy among the community.

We catalyze the transformation of this real, acute trauma pain into all-embracing love for others, which breeds union.
